The FixChip® Gluetank by Pizzi has been developed for the fast, clean, and precise gluing of FixChip wood connectors. The system ensures a metered glue supply, allowing the correct amount of adhesive to be applied directly into the grooves. This results in consistent bonding quality.
The Gluetank is manufactured entirely from stainless steel and equipped with high-quality components. The ergonomic glue gun ensures comfortable use and comes standard with a specially developed FixChip nozzle and a universal pointed nozzle.
Operation and use
The FixChip® Gluetank by Pizzi is easy to use. Place the FixChip® D3 glue bucket in the tank, connect the compressed air, and set the desired glue dosage. Then apply the glue directly into the grooves of the FixChip wood connector using the glue gun. The specially developed FixChip nozzle ensures targeted and even glue application.
After applying the glue, the components can be assembled and pressed or clamped immediately. In combination with FixChip® D3 glue, the recommended pressing time is only 5 minutes, followed by approximately 25 minutes of curing.
For optimal operation and a long service life, daily maintenance is simple. Shut off the glue supply after use and clean the nozzle. The Gluetank only needs to be cleaned if it is not used for more than four weeks.
